Las Montañas!!!
It happened guys. I finally made it to the mountains!!! But it's coooold. Hope yall had a good couple of weeks. I was going to write last week but then they decided to transfer both my comp and I and we were running around all day trying to say bye to everyone we could. Sadly we couldn't say bye to everyone. But now I am here in the area called San Andres Chapil as District Leader and Trainer. I get to finish up the training of Elder Huascar from Perú. This area is absolutely beautiful. It's a little rural town right at the base of the mountains. I'll add some fotos below. But the work here is very different. Right now we are focused a lot on the members. And helping them come closer to Christ, all the while bringing their family along with them. Conference was so amazing. I absolutely loved the talk that President Oaks gave about the importance of the family. The family really is something that is taken for granted so often. I testify that the family is ordained of God...
