El Santo Templo!

Hey gang! How are yall doing?

Well this transfer has gone by pretty dang fast. I guess that happens when it's a 5 week transfer...

These past couple weeks have been pretty dang good. To keep yall in the loop the following happened:
- Had intercambios with: Élder Taylor on Wednesday, and with Élder Chapman on Thursday last week.
- We had Stake Conference and got to see some members from my previous area, Chapil
- We got to go to the temple!!! It was such a blessing to be able to go after so long of not being able to.
- Got to do some service moving sand up and down a very steep hill. Got a good workout in.
- We had a dope barbeque for pday
- And have been sick with a cold for about 7 days... so fun...

But lemme tell yall an amazing miracle that happened:

Due to this cold I have had a crazy runny nose and a terrible cough for a good while. One thing that I was worrying about a lot, was being in the temple with this cough interrupting it for everyone else and for myself. So I asked for a blessing from Èlder Whiting, my comp, at around 4:30 in the morning before heading out. The whole drive there was miserable. With a crazy runny nose and a terrible cough that wouldn't leave me alone. And then we pulled up to the temple in the bus... the moment I stepped off the bus my nose completely cleared up and my cough stopped for a good while. It was as if my cold was just put on a hard pause. 'Cause once the session in the temple was finished, it all came back to torment me. But the blessing was that it was temporarily removed so that I was able to enjoy the amazing spirit of the temple. And that's all I wanted.

I am so thankful for the temples, the houses of the Lord, where we can go to be oh so much closer to His presence. I love my God and I love how He continues to bless me and everyone around me.

I hope yall have a great week. And I'll write yall next week! Va pue!
