Transfer 4!

Hey ya'll, how ya doin'? Well, Imma keep  this   a little shorter cause not much happened anyway. This week went by really fast, and it's crazy to see how fast the time is going by now. Someone keeps clicking the fast forward button on my life. First of all this week we had two exchanges!! If any of ya were or are missionaries, you know how fun those can be. What's awesome about being in a trio is that the DL tries to get an exchange with every one of you in the trio. So I got to have exchanges with Élder Romney this week, and we had a blast. Sadly, I thought the missionary work side of it was kinda lame cause no one was home or available those two nights... Speaking of Élder Romney, he wanted a haircut, so I got to give him one on pday as well. A buzz cut. He was regretting it as I cut it, but afterward, he kinda liked it. Also, you've probably all heard, but a hurricane passed by Guatemala and into Mexico. Luckily, I was just on the edge of it, so I only got a lit...

Well ha. Sorry again for not sending an email last week. But now y'all get a 2 in one. I'll try to make it short. First I'll name the random fun stuff from the last two weeks. >We found a full sized backhoe playing around in the middle of the river.  >DL and his comp got parasites so we got to go out to their area for a night to help them out in preparing one of their friends for baptism >I got to go on a 10 hour bus ride to Guatemala city to do some immigration paperwork to get my Guatemalan ID card. >Got to stay in the Barcelo, which is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. >Missed my Zone conference due to the trip so I got to go to the zone conference of my old zone and listen to Elder Olsen of the 70 and his wife and it was awesome!! Ok now for the awesome stuff! SERGIO AND MARIA WERE BAPTIZED!! Oh my gosh, they are sooo pilas and amazing. We would literally teach them something like the Word of Wisdom and drop something in an instant because in...

Learning some life lessons

Hello hello!! Hope y'all had a great week and that you all are doing amazing!! Sorry once again to some, and to others you're welcome cause this'll be another short one. This week went by so fast and I'm starting to realize just how fast the mission really goes by. But this week was great. One thing that I have realized about being in a trio is that spreading out the time in lessons evenly between the three of us is nearly impossible. But I got a nice break from this on exchanges this week with the amazing DL, Elder Heineger. He had me lead all the lessons and they went great!! Was nice to have more time to talk in a lesson for once. This week I learned something big. And if any of you know me well you know I am not that patient. Ever since I was little, I was always a little too quick to get mad. But this week I found this out, and some of you may have already known this trick but bare with me. So the thing I realized that helps so much with patience is... forget what ...

Yo sé que Dios ama a todos

Hello everyone!! I don't have much to say in this email so it'll be a little on the shorter end. First of all we had another baptism!! Mateo was baptized this week. Ya'll should have seen how excited he was and the smile he had on his face when he passed the baptismal interview. We had Stake Conference this week and that was so good. Élder Giron of the Seventy came and visited. They all talked about covenants, the blessing we receive from them, and how they help in this life. It was soo good. I finally got to eat a fresh coconut!! And got to chop it open myself. It was sooo yummy. There was a ton of rain and thunderstorms this week, which were so much fun and so nice cause when it begins to rain the air drops like 10 degrees here in Sanber. No to explain my title a little bit. Today I realized a pattern that has been going on for quite a while. But first of all to Pdays. Pdays, or more like after 6 on Pdays, when they end and we get back to work, are probably some of my har...

Transfers!!

So transfers happened and that's been fun. Had to say goodbye to all the friends I made in Genova, which was sad. And then Élder Canal and my district, which was also sad. But now I'm in a trio In San Bernardino!!! Élder Watson and Élder Archaga are fun and we get along great. Élder Watson is beginning to show us around since he was here before us two. We are also getting ready to kill Archaga since this is his final transfer in the mission. We had a baptism this Saturday!! Little Hugo was baptized!! He is such the coolest little 9 year old with such a strong testimony and desire to follow Christ. We also go to celebrate little Juanitas 7th birthday this Friday!!! She is just the cutest little girl you'll ever meet!! Other than that not much else happened. But one thing I wanna share with y'all this week is Ether 12:6, specifically the last part, "...no recibireis nigun testimonio hasta despues la prueba de fe" Sorry I don't have it memorized in English. B...

A Baptism y San Bernardino, Here I come!

Whoops sorry I forgot last week This was another one of those weeks where a lot, but not a lot, happened. Hermana Victorina was baptized after a long time talking with the missionaries and lots of difficulties in her life. But she's always relied on God and is now joining in his fold through baptism!!!! I had exchanges with our DL, Élder Naverette, and that was awesome! I learned how to teach and lead a lesson so much better and we successfully got Hermana Victorina and Hermana Armenia completely ready for their baptisms last Friday. That was until Hermana Armenia's toddler got an eye infection and it was then postponed until the next Friday ... que triste. But he's already getting better and we are looking forward to Friday. On the exchange we got stuck in San Miguelito after 4:30 when there were no more buses. So we got to hitchhike in the bed of a pick-up. Yay! There were a couple of times this week that I had to dangle on the outside of a bus as we traveled to and fro...

Puro Chapin Roller-coaster Ride

Omgosh this week was all over the place. Let's get into it!!   And I'm going to try to keep this shorter To get things started, an Hermana that we met last week, we finally made it to her house and family to meet and teach them. We have visited them twice now and they are bien pilas!!!(AMAZING) The second time we met with them they expressed a desire to be baptised in the true church of God!! HOW AMAZING IS THAT!!! The love they have for God and Jesus already is amazing! This week I also got super sick. I must have eaten something bad the night before cause I was in the bathroom for 3 hours puking. So fun! Don't think I have ever felt or looked as dead as I did. Pero ni modo. When I woke up in the morning I was fine and had no more symptoms or pain. This week it has also started to rain. And when I mean rain I mean RAIN. It rains absolute cats and dogs here and we have found ourselves, many times, just standing in the rain in our many travels from area to area. So ...
